ReBoot was indeed the first CGI TV series. I absolutely love this series and own the DVDs! I could be talked into lending them.

It’s cool that the first two seasons are on Netflix. I assume Season 3 and Season 4 are not on it because of some rights issues. The show was more or less canceled after Season 2, and was brought back after Cartoon Network picked it up. It ended (enough) at the end of Season 3, but there were still plot points open to return to… in which they eventually did after fans demanded more, and it returned with “Season 4″ which was technically cut as two made-for-TV movies (but broken up for the USA market).

There was a third movie planned, but it was never made (lack of financing). So the whole series ends on a cliffhanger.
